Travel across the Lake City Cutoff (CR 26) between Highway 149 and U.S. Highway 50 expands as of May 3 with a noontime convoy led by pilot car which leaves from Highway 149 westbound at noon and eastbound traffic from U.S. 50 at 1 p.m. Other allotted travel times across the cutoff road — still no trailers or heavy transports over 16,000 gross weight — are westbound from Highway 149 at 6:30 a.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and eastbound from Highway 50 to Highway 149 at 7:30 a.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. Travel times are subject to change due to weather and road conditions.
